Our President Prof. Barış Tan Attends TEKNOFEST 2025

Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan participated in the 8th edition of TEKNOFEST, held September 17–21, 2025, at Atatürk Airport.

Accompanied by Dr. İsmail Arı, Director of Knowledge, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship at Özyeğin University, Prof. Barış Tan met with leading figures of Türkiye’s science, technology, and defense ecosystem, including Prof. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK; Ahmet Akyol, CEO of ASELSAN; Murat İkinci, CEO of Roketsan; Prof. Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of Havelsan; as well as Prof. Hasan Mandal, Rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU); Prof. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Rector of Middle East Technical University (METU); Prof. Oktay Özkan, Vice Rector of Erciyes University; and Prof. Hakan Karataş and Prof. İhsan Kaya, Vice Presidents of the Defense Industry Agency.

The meetings set the stage for new institutional collaborations and highlighted Özyeğin University’s commitment to cultivating top talent for Türkiye’s future in science, technology, and innovation.
